Fresh Prince defeats Dunderball in Snoozefest
Recap by: Brandon
Fresh Prince of Helaire (Tim) got back to .500 (2-2), which is an accomplishment for this roster. Fresh Prince doesn’t have the “superstars”, but he has guys who just produce. QB Kyler Murray dropped 52.12 and has now eclipsed 50+ in 3 out of 4 weeks. Chris Carson (24.00) and Mike Davis (22.10) earned their spots as starting RB’s with fantastic games, and WR Tyler Boyd (16.40) had another nice game and has become a favorite target of Joe Burrow (which is a very good thing for Tim). It wasn’t all sparkles for Tim, as Brandin Cooks got ZERO from the WR spot and the 49ers defense only scored 13 points against a hopeless Philly squad. The loss of Mike Thomas continues to hurt Tim with total points, but this week 165 got the job done. On to Week 5!
Line-Up Grade: C+
A week after getting his first win of the season, Dunderball (Micah) missed a golden opportunity to get back to .500. Dunderball falls to 1-3, despite having some solid production around the roster. Alvin Kamara dropped 21.55 and RoJo dropped 18.80, but they were collectively outscored by the opposing RB by 5.75 points. QB Jared Goff had an alright game, but 41.70 isn’t going to get it done in this league. WR Kenny Golladay put up solid numbers again (16.20) and rookie WR Brandon Aiyuk contributed 14.6 from the Flex. Dunderball was one of the teams affected by the COVID postponements, losing WR A.J. Brown for Week. We can honestly say that Brown could have made a difference. Oh well. On to Week 5! One more thing, with Le’Veon Bell on IR still, Dunderball will be hunting the waiver wire until his return (hell, even beyond his return).
