Dany Wins the “Old White QB Bowl”

FlyEaglesFly (Dany) used a powerful performance by the old-ass Tom Brady to improve his record to 2-2. Brady dropped a season-high 70.46 points, throwing for 369 yds and 5 TDs – quite an impressive performance for the gramps. Melvin Gordon also had a great week, dropping 29.80 points in the TNF snoozefest. The two surprises of the week for Dany were Cowboys WR Cee Dee Lamb (31.80) and Packers TE Robert Tonyon (33.80). Tonyon has caught a TD pass in 3 straight weeks, so maybe Dany is on to something here … because I have no fucking clue who this dude is. Dany also got a big game from the Chiefs defense (29.00) for a very balanced performance all-around. FlyEaglesFly looks like a more complete team now and will battle last-season’s champs in Week 5.

Line-Up Grade: A+

Winging It All 2020 (Joey) falls to 1-3 and gives new meaning to ‘Winging It All’. 2020 may be a year not to try new things, but I think it might be time for a new QB. Drew Brees (37.54) looks like Dru Breez, the little-known QB from southern Mississippi (he sucks). Brees is not the player he used to be and it’s showing faster than the Saints and Joey would like. WR Adam Thielen continues to show his value, dropping 26.20, but WR Julio Jones (7.20) continues to be a mystery to all fantasy players. Type 1 Diabetic TE Mark Andrews (20.70) caught two more TD passes, as he proves to be one of the best fantasy TE’s around. The majority of Joey’s players were under double-digits and when your opponent scores 200+, it’s just easier to close the sleeper app and focus on other things. Joey plays fellow VNHS alumni Marcos in Week 5, continuing the Wolfpack trend.

Line-Up Grade: C-
