Ruggs Burns Earns a MNF Comeback, Clip
Ruggs Burns (Victor) survives a huge scare and gets a clutch MNF victory against Flyeaglesfly. Ruggs Burns was the heavy favorite going into this game, so seeing it this close is surprising. Rodgers (42.20) put up good numbers for an NFL game, but for fantasy, it’s pedestrian. Tannehill outperformed A-A-Rod, but I doubt we will see Tannehill actually replace him. RB and keeper Derrick Henry has yet to have a good game and only produced 8.40 points in Week 2, and after a monster Week 1, DeVante Adams came crashing back down to earth with only 6.6 points (and is questionable). The real keys to victory was the play of Darren Waller (28.30) and Mike Evans (24.40), because Ruggs Burns had TWO players in their line-up get zero points. Special shout-out to Ruggs Burns IDP choice of Zach Cunningham, who got 16.50 points.
Line-Up Grade: C
FlyEaglesFly (Dany) was so close! We’ve all been there. FlyEaglesFly had choice but to sit and watch his team give up the lead and now he falls to 0-2. Tom Brady won on the field, but still struggled with turnovers, leading to a mediocre 31.68 points. Keeper Tyreek Hill showed up finally, as did rookie WR CeeDee Lamb (17.80), but that was about it. Melvin Gordon (16.40) did get a TD and now that Lindsay is out, there should be a heavy dose of Gordon in the Broncos future. FlyEaglesFly did leave some points on the bench, mainly from Jonnu Smith, who scored 25.40 from the pine. FlyEaglesFly plays the 0-2 commissioner next, so let’s see who falls to the awful mark of 0-3.
