Brandon Replaces Harrison with Something Worse
Recap by: Jake
Kevin’s Famous Chili (Brandon) should change his name to collusion. He performed a back door coupe and replaced Harry with someone even worse. I know it’s hard to believe anyone is worse than the previous regime of the leagues worst team but believe me it happened. The injury ridden KFC started Joe Burrow(48.86) who happens to be the brightest spot on this team and belongs on a more qualified team such as You Fant Touch This. Every single player on KFC under performed except for rookie standout Jerry Jeudy (12.30) and even he struggled with only bringing in 4 out of his 10 targets. With injuries to Joe Mixon, Raheem Mostert, and OBJ no one expected KFC to win yet he was able to mail in some luck and take a narrow lead. In this battleground matchup sleepy Brandon was able to stack the odds by replacing the team owner of who he was facing. I wouldn’t expect KFC to win many more games since he also lost George Kittle(5.90) to the IR. KFC will face Ruggs Burns next week and won’t continue this short lived 1 game win streak.
Line-Up Grade: C
Famou$ Nobody$ (Mike) may have come in thinking he was gonna be a game changer….he was right. He changed the game by letting KFC win which is not a common occurrence. To his credit he inherited an awful roster thats best players were on a bye. Giovani Bernard (22.80) was able to bring in 2 TDs while filling in for the injured Joe Mixon. 2 out 4 of the WR he started scored above 20 points. AJ Green (3.90) was only able to haul in 2 of his 5 targets which mirrored Preston Williams (3.50) performance with the debut of his new QB. Carson Wentz (21.62) had 2 fumbles and no real yardage to speak of, and the 2TDs were not enough to get the win. the real shame to this is that Mike couldn’t score more than 113 points in his debut, maybe he should pick up Danny Dimes and start a trend of losing games. At least next week FN can start Deshaun Watson and both RBs from Arizona in hopes to turning his awful team around.

Russell Wilson for MVP
Recap by: Jake
Bald Mambas (Matt) deserves the come back kid of the year award. Last year he was one of the worst teams yet this year he has flipped the script. The MVP of this turn around is Russell Wilson(66.74) who had another 4TD game this week and is on pace to win this award. Another clutch performance by his 9th round pick up, the Pittsburgh defense who came through with 4 turnovers, 4 sacks, and a TD for an amazing 31 points. it wasn’t all good for the bald mambas since 5 players scored in the single digits with many below even 5. Cooper Kupp(23.00) has not been a stable scoring option but had a career and franchise record of 20 targets according to ESPN. The real surprise of the week was Darnell Mooney(18.90) had a breakout performance of such when he snagged his 1st TD in 6 weeks. Next week Matt has a few bye issues but takes on the ever so mild Winging It All 2020 so he might have a chance.
Line-Up Grade: B+
This loss hurts for Ruggs Burns (Victor) because of the narrow .4 loss. For some of you who still haven’t figured fantasy football out, that’s 4 yards from a WR or RB. Considering he won by .73 it only makes sense it doesn’t land in his favor this time. Aaron Rodgers(54.54) and DeVante Adams(30.30) continued their chemistry together while connecting for 3TDs against the vikings. Derek Henry(17.20) averaged 6.2 yards a carry and grabbed a TD in his teams upset loss to the Bengals. Victor continues to show too much love to Henry Ruggs(2.90) who is having a very erratic rookie season. Anthony Miller(15.30) was left on the bench but if played could have altered the outcome but thats just how it goes. Next week Ruggs Burns takes on KFC but still struggles with not having a legit RB2 since his week 1 loss to Marlon Mack. He should still bounce back since Brandon sucks.

Tim Wins 6th in a Row sans Michael Thomas
Recap by: Brandon
Fresh Prince of Helaire (Tim) continues to pull wins out of his ass, but that’s the name of the game in fantasy football. He survived making the mistake of starting Baker Mayfield (19.78) and the player he named his team after did nothing (6.10). It was really four players that held it down for Tim – Tyler Boyd (19.60), Tyler Hockenson (13.5), Deonte Harris (14.9) and Deejay Dallas (22.8) all showed up to help secure the win. Tim continues to be in no-mans-land with Michael Thomas, who probably just hates Tim at this point. It’s the only logical explanation. Kyler will be back next week but Tyler Boyd will be on bye, so let’s see if Tim can win his 7th in a row against Jake in Week 9.
Line-Up Grade: D+
After beating the best team in the league last week, The Dirty Birdies (David) laid an egg in Week 8. QB Matt Ryan (37.94) played a poopy game, Jonathan Taylor (5.10) didn’t do much, and neither did Tre-Quan Smith (8.3) or Jimmy Graham (4.3). The only real production on the roster was from Marvin Jones (18.9), Josh Jacobs (12.9), and David Montgomery. Not one skill player with 20 points — not a good recipe to win games. David did have DHop on bye and he will clearly be back next week, as will WR Chris Godwin, so David should put up more points next week against newbie Mike.

Oh Lamar, Where Art Thou?
Recap by: Jake
Logic, gravity, and physics were all defied by LJ Will Lead the Way (Rell) and his line up. Lamar Jackson(21.82) was destroyed by the steelers defense and had 4 turnovers. The reigning MVP was no where to be found in this win but that wasn’t enough to keep Rell down. Miles Sanders(0.00) somehow found his way onto the starting roster even tho this was his second missed games in as many weeks. WRs Robert Woods(28.40) and Travis Fulgham(19.80) were able to help carry this team to victory with 162 yards and 2 TDs combined. His IDP Bobby Wagner(17.50) was a week 8 standout by almost doubling his projected point total. Next week Rell gets breakout RB James Robinson and WR Terry McLaurin back so he should be able to pull off the win against the disappoint we call Team murdermax.
Line-Up Grade: B
Winging It All 2020 (Joey) took more than 1 L this week. He not only lost this matchup but his best RB Myles Gaskin(11.30) is projected to miss the next 2 games. His above average receiving core Julio Jones(20.70) and JuJu Smith-Schuster(13.70) are going to have to step it up even more now that the team is even more injured. Drew Brees(54.60) took on a savage defense in Chicago and prevailed by completing 75% of his passes for 280 yards and 3TDs. Joey took a risk playing TD dependent boom or bust waiver wire pick up Nelson Agholor(0.00) who after 3 straight weeks of TD catches couldn’t even bring down either of his only 2 targets. Bad call there buddy, bad call. When you look at Joey’s bench there isn’t much to write about thus doesn’t provide much to look forward to. If his players can end the week healthy, Joey will look to capitalize on several good matchups for his star players and upset Bald Mambas in week 9.

Marcos Stops Micah’s Win Streak at 3
Recap by: Brandon
Week 9 Match-Ups
Heading into Week 8 as the underdog, Murdermarx (Marcos) improved to 5-3, stopping Micah’s win-streak. QB Justin Herbert (55.22) continued to impress, despite watching his team blow it. Jamaal Williams (18.20) had a great day before going on the COVID list (mask up!). Aside from that, it was a hodge-podge of players getting 6 or 7 points … which was enough to get it done this week. Marcos will look to get to six wins and get closer to a playoff spot next week against Rell.
Line-Up Grade: C
Dunderball (Micah) had his winning-streak snapped at three, falling back to .500. Micah had a golden chance to get to 5 wins, but his team failed to show up. Teddy 2-Gloves (29.04) barely did anything for a QB, Le’Veon Bell (5.8) didn’t do anything, and Kenny G didn’t even play and was somehow in the line-up. Alvin Kamara (25.30) played well, Brandon Aiyuk (23.10) did his thing but is now out with COVID, and Tee Higgins (14.4) continues to play well. Micah goes back to the drawing board next week with a huge game against Roy in Week 9.

Breaking News: Roy’s Fantasy Team is Better than the Cowboys
Recap by: Brandon
All of a Sutton (Roy) did it! His team scored over 200 points and won! Hooray! This thing was over quick. Dalvin Cook (52.60) let it be known that he was still a beast, scoring 4 TD’s and getting over 200 total yards. DK Metcalf (44.1) then took the reigns and beasted on the 49ers . QB Philip Rivers (51.28) wasn’t horrible finally, Mike Williams had a nice day (21.0) and even TE Evan Engram (12.0) got a ball AND SCORED! This was a great day for Roy’s fantasy team, so he should focus on that … not on his terrible, dogsh*t Cowboys. Roy has a big game next week, as Micah is one game ahead of him in the standings.
Line-Up Grade: A+
FlyEaglesFly (Dany) knew this was over quick. He even let us know in the chat in Sleeper. Tom Brady (51.06) made the score closer on MNF, but this was an uphill battle Dboy couldn’t come back from. Tyreek Hill (29.8) was a hit (pun intended) again this week, and TE Jared Cook showed signs of life (16.1). Dboy really missed out on some points, as Gallman (13.2), Justin Jackson (17.52) and Robert Tonyan (13.9) all scored in double-digits. It might not have made the difference, but it would have given Dboy more points, which is crucial come playoff time, Dany faces 1st-place Maholmes next week, as he needs a win to stay above .500.

Maholmes Rolls; You Fant Tough This Continues to Fall
Recap by: Brandon
Maholmes (Aleks) improved his regular season record to 6-2, using a monster day from his keeper Patrick Mahomes (82.64). Mahomes day puts him in the top 10 in best fantasy performances (since joining sleeper). Aleks bet heavy on the Chiefs offense and it paid off – Kelce (24.9) and Hardman (24.0) had very nice days, as did Corey David (26.8). Sterling Shepard (16.4) had a solid MNF performance and so did the corpse that is Gronk (14.1). Aleks continues to have regular season success, but at this point, all he is thinking about has to the the title. Maholmes faces Dany in Week 9 to stay in first place.
Line-Up Grade: A+
You Fant Touch This (Jake) is a trooper. He continues to talk shit, stay involved, pick up free agents, and even write the recaps with me … all while his team is falling faster than Kanye’s mental state. Dak-replacement Derek Carr forgot to show up and only got 28.58 and former Star War Ewok Zeke Elliott (8.3) has failed to get going this year. Nyheim Hines had a very nice day (23.75), including a very nice backflip. Jake did leave some points on his bench, so I think there is a shot to get back to .500. However, the schedule doesn’t get easier on Jake, as he faces Tim in Week 9. I know it should be an F, but I am giving him a D for effort.
