Maholmes (Aleks) improved to 2-0 on the young season, using a massive day from RB1 Aaron Jones and the usual from Mahomes and Kelce. Aaron Jones scored 49.6 points for Maholmes, which was 177.7% (wtf!) above his projected total of 17.86. Mahomes looked meh in the first half, but turned it on in the 2nd half to finish with 61.48 points. Mahomes teammate Travis Kelce (24.00) also had a very nice day for Maholmes. The Baltimore defense continues to just be a machine, churning out 25 more points. Maholmes also left some points on the bench, (Fournette, 31.60) so this roster is looking pretty stacked as Week 3 approaches.
Line-Up Grade: A-
All of a Sutton I’m Injured (Roy) continues to get bit by the injury bug. Star bench player Jamison Crowder was already out, and now the player the team was named after is on IR (Courtland Sutton). There was some good news for Roy as Cam Newton (66.58) proved to be back and looking like his former MVP self. Dalvin Cook (17.10) and Amari Cooper (17.00) had decent games, and DK Metcalf (23.20) continues to gain value. All-in-all, 185 is a good amount of points to put up, even with an injured roster. A battle of 0-2 teams is up next for Roy, so the pressure is on to get a win.
