EPL Power Rankings

Champions League Qualifiers

1. Liverpool (54 points)

Previous Rank: 1 ↨

Liverpool finally took their first loss on the season, thanks to Man City (2-1). After their 1st loss of the season (now Arsene can breathe), they’ll look to get back into winning form as they have a match with 13th placed Brighton.

Next Match: Brighton

2. Man City (50 points)

Previous Rank: 2 ↨

Fresh off what could be their biggest win of the season, Man City close the gap on the lead to 4 points … jumping Tottenham in the standings along the way. They won’t plan on dropping any points this week, as they’re expected to earn 3 against the Wolves.

Next Match: Wolverhampton

3. Tottenham (48 points)

Previous Rank: 3 ↨

The Spurs keep themselves six points away from the top spot, as they’ve played some good football as of late. In what seems like a big matchup every weekend, this weekend fits the bill as Manchester United travels to Wembley Stadium for a date with the Spurs.

Next Match: Manchester United

4. Chelsea (44 points)

Previous Rank: 4 ↨

The Blues are now four points behind the 3rd place Spurs and they face Newcastle United on Sat (should be a W). The biggest news out of Chelsea this week hasn’t been because of performances, it’s the upcoming arrival of Christian Pulisic who will join his new club this upcoming summer.

Next Match:Newcastle

5. Arsenal (41 points)

Previous Rank: 5 ↨

Arsenal continues to hold down the 5th spot, where they have been comfortable all season. The Gunners will have to pick up the pace if they want to catch/pass Chelsea, or even hold its 3 point lead at the five-spot … with red hot Man U in their heels.

Next Match: West Ham United

Stoppage Time

Europa League Qualifiers

1. Manchester United, 11-5-5 (38 pts, 6th in EPL)
#olein Ole Gunnar Solskjær is all the way in with Man U. as he has yet to lose a game since taking over (4-0). The Red Devils have their hands full with a visit to 3rd place Tottenham, can the Ole streak continue?

Up Next: Tottenham

2. Leicester City, 9-4-8 (31 pts, 7th in EPL)
Leicester City has climbed up the standing and ranking coming in at 7th and as of now earning themselves a spot in Europa League competition. With a visit from Southampton this weekend they should be staying put at 7th earning 3 points

Up Next: Southampton

3 Watford F.C, 8-5-8 (29 pts, 8th in EPL)
Closing out my rankings is Watford FC who has climbed into 8th place. Although they only hold a 1 goal lead over the Wolves for 8th, Watford visits Crystal Palace with hopes to keep either Europa League dreams alive with a victory.

Up Next: Crystal Palace
