One of the more unique draft strategies were witnessed here. Aleks drafted 2 TEs in the first four rounds. TE Travis Kelce is explainable because he is being paired with QB Patrick Mahomes both in real life and on this fantasy gridiron setting Aleks up for massive double dipping production. Guess that explains the lackluster team name “Maholmes”. TE Zach Ertz is the reach due to being picked in the 4th round when WR Keenan Allen and WR DJ Chark Jr. were still available. Maybe the confidence in 2 TEs that early came from his ability to steal RB Aaron Jones in the second round who co-led the NFL in rushing TDs with 16. Jones was arguably a 1st round choice in so many leagues and fortunately fell in this draft. Aleks made a real head scratching pick in the 5th round when he selected RB Leonard Fournette  who was cut by the Jaguars only days prior. Fournette signed with the Bucs to join RB Ronald Jones II and veteran RB LeSean McCoy in a committee. Bruce Arians referred to RB Ronald Jones II as “our guy” eliminating any  value in Fournette because his only value over the last 3 years has been volume carries. After essentially inspiring no one with the rest of his draft Aleks can find solace in getting his favorite teams defense with the Ravens even though he desperately needed to handcuff his most fragile player RB David Johnson with RB Duke Johnson.
