Game Recaps
Baker Boys 140.90 (162.26)
Eyewreckdumb 139.52 (165.29)
Difference: 1.38 Points (1%)
Our first recap from Week 2 is our closest battle … unfortunately it all came down to the ending of the Browns and Jets. Baker Boys used a big day from WR1 Odell Beckham Jr and solid days from RB2 Matt Breida, and Flexs Cole Beasley and Chris Conley. Jimmy G outperformed QB Baker Mayfield from the bench, so decisions will have to be made in Week 3. Eyewreckdumb had solid production from QB Jared Goff, WR1 DeVante Adams, and Flexs DK Metcalf and Mike Williams … but it was not enough to get the win. Baker Boys get their first win of the season, while Eyewreckdumb falls to 0-2.
Next Week
The Baker Boys (1-1) vs 2 TE Sets (1-1)
Eyewreckdumb (0-2) vs Special Snowflakes (0-2)
Sc0p3 140.96 (163.80)
Special Snowflakes 119.76 (151.85)
Difference: 21.20 points (16%)
After beating one Rosenthal bro, Sc0p3 took on another Rosenthal brother, Special Snowflakes, in Week 2. Sc0p3 used decent performances from QB Aaron Rodgers, TE Greg Olsen, and the Texans defense, but there wasn’t much left to brag about for either team. This match wasn’t about offense. Special Snowflakes had the second straight week of disappointments from the roster. QB Deshaun Watson had a tough day, and RB1 David Johnson left the game with an injury (though he’s good for Week 3). Special Snowflakes did have nice days from WR2 Cooper Kupp and Flex John Ross III, but it wasn’t enough to get the job done. Sc0p3 moves to 2-0 to stay tied atop the NFL standings, while Special Snowflakes falls to 0-2.
Next Week
Sc0p3 (2-0) vs Los Matadores (1-1)
Special Snowflakes (0-2) vs Eyewreckdumb (0-2)
DjRell 138.42 (159.74)
SolerKing 113.72 (165.29)
Difference: 24.7 points (20%)
In another battle of win-less teams, DjRell took on SolerKing in Week 2. DjRell used a fantastic day from WR1 Julio Jones and solid days from Flex Curtis Samuel and the Tennessee defense. QB1 Cam Newton did not play well again, so we might see new pick-up Case Keenum in action next week (probably not). As for SolerKing, TE Mark Andrews balled out again and SolerKing’s RBs – Le’Veon Bell and Kerryon Johnson had very solid performances. Unfortunately for SolerKing, QB Drew Brees injured his thumb and will be out six weeks, so we will see new comer Jacoby Brissett in the lineup next week. DjRell improves to 1-1 on the young season, while former champ SolerKing falls to 0-2.
Next Week
DjRell (1-1) vs FAB (0-2)
SolerKing (1-0) vs MJaffe (0-2)
Philly Special 168.25 (155.19)
Los Matadores 134.36 (172.30)
Difference: 33.89 points (22%)
After a big Week 1, Los Matadores took on Philly Special in a battle of undefeated teams. Philly Special used a big day from QB Matt Ryan, and very solid performances from the Chiefs defense, WR2 Tyler Lockett, TE Zach Ertz, and Flexes Larry Fitzgerald and new-addition Hollywood Brown. Los Matadores had nice days from RB1 Saquon Barkley, QB Tom Brady, and Jacksonville defense, but did not get enough from other positions on the roster. Dak Prescott balled out again on the bench, so Los Matadores might have some decisions to make in Week 3. Philly Special moves to 2-0 to stay tied for 1st in the AFL, while Los Matadores falls to 1-1.
Next Week
Philly Special (2-0) vs GoombsMcMerks (2-0)
Los Matdores (1-1) vs Sc0p3 (2-0)
2 TE Sets 162.14 (179.38)
DParnes 196.44 (170.08)
Difference: 34.3 points (19%)
After both winning in Week 1, this match-up featured a battle of teams that both have red-headed QB’s. DParnes got a big fat 50 from the New England defense and big days from RB1 Dalvin Cook, WR2 Calvin Ridley, and QB Andy Dalton (yes, the ginger … no, not Harrison). 2 TE Sets got a very nice performances from WR2 Chris Godwin, WR1 Michael Thomas, and RB1 Nick Chubb, but it wasn’t enough to match the points on the board. QB Carson Wentz (the other ginger in this match-up) only scored 1.18 more than backup Kyler Murray, so it will be interesting to see what happens in Week 3. DParnes now moves to 2-0 on the young season and stays tied atop the NFL standings, while 2 TE Sets falls to 1-1 on the season.
Next Week
2 TE Sets (1-1) vs Baker Boys (1-1)
DParnes (2-0) vs GonzoFiveO (2-0)
GoombsMcMerks 156.10 (150.09)
MJaffe 118.40 (161.43)
Difference: 37.7 points (27%)
GoombsMcMerks took on MJaffe in this match-up and unfortunately for MJaffe, he had Big Ben (ouch). GoomsMcMerks used a big day from QB Russell Wilson and solid performances by WR1 Antonio Brown (who knows what will happen next), WR2 TY Hilton and Flex Derrick Henry. Goombs was able to overcome a poor performance by star RB1 Christian McCaffrey. MJaffe had decent performances from RB1 Leonard Fournette and RB2 David Montgomery. and a very nice day from WR2 Tyler Boyd, but QB Ben Roethlisberger left the game early after injured his elbow and will miss the entire season. MJaffe will have to decide between Derek Carr and Teddy Bridgewater in Week 3. GoombsMcMerks moves to 2-0, while MJaffe falls to 0-2.
Next Week
GoombsMcMerks (2-0) vs Philly Special (2-0)
MJaffe (0-2) vs SolerKing (0-2)
Fuck Antonio Brown 189.22 (160.22)
GonzoFiveO 233.12 (184.78)
Difference: 43.9 points (21%)
In our final recap, which happened to be the highest scoring match-up of the week, FAB took on GonzoFiveO in a old-fashioned fantasy shoot-out. GonzoFiveO used a massive day from QB Patrick Mahomes (thanks, Raiders) and got solid performances by RBs Aaron Jones and Austin Ekeler, WRs Keenan Allen and DJ Moore, TE Travis Kelce, and Flex Emmanuel Sanders. Gonzo got nothing from Devante Parker, but that did not seem to matter. Gonzo also got almost 60 points again from Lamar Jackson … who’s on the bench. Fuck Antonio Brown put up big numbers as well. QB Josh Allen had a very nice day, and FAB had great performances from RBs Ezekiel Elliot and Todd Gurley, TE Vance McDonald, and Flex Kenny Golladay. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough in against Gonzo. GonzoFiveO improves to 2-0, while Fuck Antonio Brown falls to 0-2.
Next Week
Fuck Antonio Brown (0-2) vs DjRell (0-2)
GonzoFiveO (2-0) vs DParnes (2-0)

Matt Prater missed a gimme, which caused him to get negative points for SolerKing, who also lost QB Drew Brees early in the game. Tough going.
