The defending champion is in mid-season form. The Dirty Birdies (David) drops 200+ in Week 1 to improve to 1-0. The Dirty Birdies got 132.9 points from Matt Ryan (66.9), Josh Jacobs (35.9), and keeper DHop (30.1). Jacobs scored three touchdowns and looks like he will be a force all season long. The Dirty Birdies also had three bench players score 10+ points, so despite a poor draft rating, The Dirty Birdies look like they are ready to defend the title.

Dunderball (Micah) struggled to put up points in Week 1 and falls to 0-1. Dunderball had a good day from 1st round pick Alvin Kamara (23.7), but was outscored by 12.2 by Jacobs, who was drafted four spots later … so at least for this week, that pick burns Dunderball. Losing Kenny Golladay hurt Dunderball for sure, but not as much as starting Jared Goff (29.5), who looked like he was in pure Goff form. Daniel Jones did much better than Goff from the bench, so as Dunderball looks for ways to score points, I assume we will see more of Danny Dimes.
