Rell is in line to repeat many of the magic he had from the previous season. He was able to keep his QB Lamar Jackson from the previous year and only give up an 11th round pick for him. It would explain the very un original and honestly sad team name “L.J will lead the way”. In the first round Rell was able to secure the Chargers RB Austin Eckler this year again with the 14th pick who is poised to have a dominant season. He is the clear #1 back with the offseason departure of teammate RB Melvin Gordon. Rell followed up with the draft’s 15th and a consecutive pick with RB Miles Sanders while passing up on 1500 yard rusher RB Nick Chubb. Sanders is one of the most debated and highly projected RBs this year but many experts are not buying the hype. With the addition of the IDP position this year, Rell was able to capitalize by selecting defensive field general LB Bobby Wagner who should be in the league’s top 5 in regards to tackles. His team is rounded out by perennial performing WRs Tyler Lockett and Robert Woods. Rell has used this draft to set himself up for immediate success and looks to take an early lead in his division with what should be a quick start to his fantasy season.
