1st Round
Tim drafted with one and only one intention, to draft for the future. His reach comes in the 1st round with RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire who is a rookie and passed on proven veterans with RBs Dalvin Cook and Alvin Kamara available. He has been quoted saying “it doesn’t matter every player will get COVID” meaning he drafted the rookie RB with the ceiling of making him his future keeper since he doesn’t believe we will have a full season. Luckily the sole returning player to Fresh Prince of Helaire is the keeper and clear cut 1st round value WR Micahel Thomas. Tim was able to swoop up on a solid RB2 option with Chris Carson. His middle rounds consisted of a TE who hasn’t seen the field in 20 months, a junior year QB with new weapons, and a few relevant players. It wasn’t until the 7th round that Fresh Prince of Helaire got their X-Factor in WR Brandin Cooks. Cooks is looking to bounce back from an injury filled season by potentially flourishing on a new team and upgrade at QB with the game changer Deshaun Watson. Cooks is a clear cut candidate for the steal if the draft considering he has had four 200+ fantasy point seasons in his short career. Tim was able to pull off drafting a top-3 fantasy defense which should help alleviate some of the stress many other teams will have with the popular choice of defense streaming.
