The TOUR Championship is finally here and even though there is no Tiger Woods to defend his title, the 30 players that made the cut are guaranteed to put on quite a show. This year, there is a new twist to the TOUR Championship, as the number one ranked player (Justin Thomas) in the FedEx Cup standings will start the tournament 10 under, while the 30th player will start even par. This new format will prevent what happened last year — Tiger won the tournament but Justin Rose finished 1st in the FedEx Cup standings, making for an awkward two-trophy presentation. This year, if you win the TOUR Championship, you also will finish 1st in the FedEx Cup standings.

The golf course the TOUR Championship is being played on is East Lake Golf Club, in Atlanta. The venue itself is gorgeous and there is a reason East Lake is the choice for the last event of the season, it’s stunning.
