Liverpool (4) vs FC Porto (7)

Players to Watch

Liverpool comes into the 1st leg matchup having defeated Bayern Munich (3-1 Agg), as FC Porto arrive into the round overcoming Roma (4-3 Agg). With the 1st leg being held at Anfield it’s easy to see why Liverpool are the favorites to come out on top of this first meeting.

Tottenham (6) vs Manchester City (1)

Players to Watch

This is a battle of two teams that know each other pretty well meeting in the round of 8, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs. City cruised through the round of 16 (10-2 Agg) as the Spurs also comfortably defeated their opponent (4-0 Agg), i can see the 1st leg being used as a feel out round in what should end in a draw.

Ajax (8) vs Juventus (3)

Players to Watch

Ajax is fresh off an upset of Real Madrid (5-3 Agg) but now face a Juventus team who had to overcome a deficit to Atletico Madrid (3-2 Agg). A mixture of Ajax’s confidence and Juve’s inconsistency makes this match-up very interesting, although skill at some point will play its part Juventus should walk away with a lead going into leg 2.

Barcelona (2) vs Manchester United (5)

Players to Watch

In what is easily the match up of the round of 8, Man U vs Barca will be as good as advertised, Barca roll in after defeating Lyon (4-1 Agg) as Man U came from behind to defeat PSG on away goals (3-3 Agg). For me best result would be a draw (obvious reasons) but i do believe this first match-up does end up in a feel out as well.​
