EPL Power Rankings

1. Man City (65 points)
Previous Rank: 2
Manchester City has regained the top spot of my rankings even though they are #2 in the standings. With an absurd +54 goal difference and with a 10 goal gap difference between them and table leaders, the Citizens have just been the better team as of late.
Next Match: West Ham United
2. Liverpool (66 points)
Previous Rank: 1
Liverpool hold on to the top spot of the standings for now but drop a spot in my rankings landing them at 2. Coming off a draw Liverpool have just left way too many points on the table to distance themselves in the standings, things won’t get easier with Watford up next and City closing in on the lead.
Next Match: Watford F.C.
3. Tottenham (60 points)
Previous Rank: 3
The Spurs seem to find their comfort sitting at 3rd for most of the year, even with the return of Harry Kane Tottenham still couldn’t muster up a win against Burnley. The road will continue to get tougher, up next the London derby vs Chelsea in a matchup that could have huge implications on the standings.Next Match: Chelsea
4. Manchester United (52 points)
Previous Rank: 5
Manchester United continue their climb up on my rankings and they’ll look to do the same in the standings as they have a battle with Crystal Palace. With Ole Solskjær looking to be the long term solution ya manager, Man U can continue their focus on clinching a top 4 spot along with a Champions League berth.
Next Match: Crystal Paace
5. Arsenal (53 points)
Previous Rank: 6
The Gunners climb back into my top 5 ranking after having put together a couple of victories and moving into 4th place of the Premier League. Arsenal is in position to hold on to a top 5 spot even with a draw in their upcoming match against Bournemouth.Next Match: Bournemouth
Stoppage Time

6 Chelsea (50 pts, 6th in EPL)
Not long ago Chelsea was positioned in the top 4 of the standings and rankings, what a difference a few months can make not only in the standings but to the team. Chelsea seem to be imploding and the rumors of Sarri likely to be on his way out of Stamford bridge aren’t helping, the Blues have to figure something out quick as their Champions league hopes keep getting further away.
Next Match: Tottenham

7Watford F.C. (40 pts, 7th in EPL)
Watford has been surprisingly consistent staying in the mix to earn a berth and play some Europa league football next season. The difficult task that they have ahead of them this week as the table leaders Liverpool are their next opponent who comes into this matchup desperate for points.
Next Match: Liverpool

8Wolverhampton (40 pts, 8th in EPL)
Wolverhampton has done enough and has at times played very well this season in what should reward them with earning the final qualifying spot for Europa league. They are safe for now and look to stay put in 8th place, a get-right game against last-place Huddersfield is much needed as they try to hold off West Ham United for the final spot in European competition.
Next Match: Huddersfield
