The time has come for Erick’s pound-for-pound boxing rankings. Now, I know you’re all asking why, and I agree. You see I’m really not a fan of pound for pound lists, but like most of us, I definitely enjoy talking shit about everyone else’s lists. If I want to keep things fair and critique other people’s lists, I figured I need to drop my own list so others can shit on it too. Moving forward I will be dropping my Top 10 rankings for each weight class as well and will be giving more of an opinion about how I feel about those fighters individually. Back to my pound for pound list, I am only including fighters from the featherweight to the heavyweight division. That is because I wanted to avoid talking about the weight classes that I don’t really watch, but who knows someday I might open it up a bit more.
Now when it comes to what my criteria for making it on the list are, I tried to keep it simple. I tried to look at the fighters that I felt most confident in when it comes out to cleaning out their current division. Of course, I also included other things such as if they have moved up to other divisions, and or if I would be confident in them moving up to the next weight class and challenging for a belt. So now that you know why I have a pound for pound list and know what my criteria is please check it out. Most importantly please make sure to comment, and let me know how wrong I am.
