Just when you think NBA Free Agency couldn’t get any more intense, the Warriors continue to surprise us all. Landing big-man DeMarcus Cousins for only $5.3M is a complete steal. A lot of other big-names came off the board in a very busy day. Some of the more shocking moves of the day were Rondo to LA, Nerlens to OKC, and obviously Boogie to GSW. Julius Randle requested to be an unrestricted free agent and signed with his buddy Anthony Davis in New Orleans. Some of the biggest names left for day 3 are Clint Capela, Isaiah Thomas, Jabari Parker, & Tyreke Evans.

Boogie Surprise!
C DeMarcus Cousins surprises the world and signs a 1 Year/$5.3M deal with the reigning back-to-back NBA champs. This is a shocking move in what was already a crazy day. He should be back around the All-Star break.
Randle Joins Pelicans
F Julius Randle has agreed to join the New Orleans Pelicans. Randle signs a 2 Year/$18M deal after asking to be renounced by the Lakers. Seems the Pelicans are offering him a much bigger role, plus AD is a Kentucky guy.
Bradley stays in L.A.
G Avery Bradley has decided to stay a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, agreeing to a 2 Year/$25M deal. Bradley is a great defender, who had a bad season last year and is looking bounce back in a big way.
Mike Scott Joins Clippers
Backup F Mike Scott has decided to join the Los Angeles Clippers for a one year deal. Scott will provide some depth, shooting, and some toughness to this roster.
Curry Goes to Portland
G Seth Curry has agreed to join the Portland Trailblazers for 2 Years/$6M. This means Curry will play his brother four times a year. Hopefully he can recover from his recent knee injury and be productive off the bench.
Rondo Lands in L.A.
G Rajon Rondo has agreed to sign a 1 Year/$9M deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. Rondo could start alongside Lonzo, but lacks shooting. I predict Rondo will come off the bench to lead a hungry second unit.
Nerlens Noel joins OKC
C Nerlens Noel signs a 2 Year/$3.5M deal to go to Oklahoma City. Last year, he turned down a 4 Year/$70M deal with Dallas. Yikes. Regardless, he can still make a difference. OKC is loading up to battle the Warriors and LeBron.
Tolliver Joins Wolves
F Anthony Tolliver has decided to sign a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s a nice piece off the bench and adds depth to the Wolves bigs.
Calderon back in Detroit
G Jose Calderon has signed a 1 Year/$2.4M contract to join the Detroit Pistons. He can still shoot the three, but will be used for depth and leadership at this point.
Redick Re-Signs in Philly
G JJ Redick has agreed to re-sign in Philadelphia for one more year. The deal will pay JJ around $12M or $13M. It’s quite a pay decrease for him, but this allows the Sixers to try and get other talent.
Favors Stays In Utah
Big-man Derrick Favors agrees to sign a 2 Year/$36M deal to remain a member of the only franchise he’s ever known. Favors played well down the stretch, and cashed in nicely.
