We are at the midway mark of the NFL Season. We finally have a good grasp on which teams are good. It took a while, but along the way we discovered plenty of teams that are NOT so good.

Tier 1 – The NFL’s Best (So Far)
1. Philadelphia Eagles 
Record: 8-1
Last Game: W, 51-23
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 2
Brandon: The Eagles continue to impress, and have earned their way to the top. Dropping a 50 piece on Denver. Impressive, Eagles. Carson Wentz seemed to be worth every pick.

2. New England Patriots 
Record: 6-2
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 10 @ Broncos
Last Week: 1
B: The Patriots come off a bye to drop one spot, but they didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, a week off to rest may jump start this team into the playoffs with a bye.
E: Tom Brady is still the man at 40, and the Pats are still the best team in the AFC.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers 
Record: 6-2
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 10 @ Colts
Last Week: 3
B: Pittsburgh stays here due to my faith in this offense. It’s so dynamic, and they haven’t even used Bryant yet.
E: This offense is starting to get going at the right time. Let’s see if they could keep it going , after the bye week.
4. Los Angeles Rams
Record: 6-2
Last Game: W, 51-17 @ Giants
Next Game: Week 10 vs Texans
Last Week: 5
B: The LA Rams could be a favorite for the Super Bowl. There is still some season left, but they are right on the Eagles tail, with only 2 losses and in place for a first round bye.
E: The Rams showed they are for real , by completely handling the Giants exactly like a good team should.
5. Minnesota Vikings
Record: 6-2
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 10 @ Washington
Last Week: 7
B: Minnesota fans are excited for the return of Teddy Two-Gloves. However, how will that work out? He hasn’t played in over a year.
E: Maybe Keenum is good enough to win the NFC north.
Tier 2 – Do You Smell Playoffs?
6. Dallas Cowboys
Record: 5-3
Last Game: W, 28-17 vs Chiefs
Next Game: Week 10 @ Falcons
Last Week: 13
B: Dallas jumps into the top ten for the first time in a few weeks. This group seems right again, and Sean Lee is healthy. The Zeke suspension/non-suspension lingers, and has me a bit worried.
Erick: Dallas has gotten back on track, and it doesn’t seem like Elliott is ever going to have to serve his suspension.
7. Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 6-3
Last Game: L, 17-28 @ Cowboys
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 4
B: The Chiefs were once 5-0, but we all knew that couldn’t last. It hasn’t and now they are 6-3. Alex Smith is still in the running for MVP, and they should win that division without issue.
E: The Chiefs defense is getting worse as the season goes on, and so is their record.
8. Seattle Seahawks
Record: 5-3
Last Game: L, 14-17 vs Washington
Next Game: Week 10 @ Cardinals (TNF)
Last Week: 6
B: A bad, ugly loss by the Seahawks, at HOME. This team is not the Seahawks of old at home, which is not good for the postseason. Stop using Eddie Lacy. Just STOP..
E: I don’t expect the kicker to miss 3 field goals again, Seattle will bounce back.
9. New Orleans Saints
Record: 6-2
Last Game: W, 30-13 vs Buccaneers
Next Game: Week 9 vs Bucs
Last Week: 12
B: The Saints have won six games in a row and are in 1st place in their division. It’s safe to say I didn’t see this coming. Kamara looks a lot like Reggie Bush back there, with more power. Catches a ton of dump-offs from Brees.
E: I actually trust the Saints more than the Panthers this year , WTF!
10. Carolina Panthers
Record: 6-3
Last Game: W, 20-17 vs Falcons
Next Game: Week 10 vs Dolphins (MNF)
Last Week: 10
B: Carolina. What to make of this team. They stay in the top-10, but were a dropped Julio Jones TD away from losing to the hopeless Falcons, at home. Their record does not indicate how not-good this team is.
E: It’s been 9 weeks, and I still don’t know what to make of this team , but they keep winning games.
11. Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 5-3
Last Game: W, 23-7 vs Bengals
Next Game: Week 10 vs Chargers
Last Week: 14
B: This team has proved they can win without superstar Rookie Leonard Fournette, and are two games above .500…which is still kind of mind-blowing.
E: 2-0 without Fournette, this Defense is legit.
12. Buffalo Bills
Record: 5-3
Last Game: L, 21-34 @ Jets
Next Game: Week 10 vs Saints
Last Week: 8
B: The Bills came back down to earth against the Jets on Thursday, but those TNF games are wonky. Tyrod looked good, but the defense let McCown do whatever he wanted.
E: Hard to believe in the Bills , if they’re not going to beat the Jets.
Tier 3 – Nice Try…Have a Seat
13. Washington Football Team
Record: 4-4
Last Game: W, 17-14 @ Seahawks
Next Game: Week 10 vs Vikings
Last Week: 16
Brandon: Just when you think the Washington Racist Football Team is out of it, they pull a game out of their asses like this one. Clutch performance by Kirk, who has earned himself a payday (it just won’t be with SF…or will it?)
Erick: Big win on the road to stay alive last week, but they’re 0-3 in their division, and I can’t see them making it.
14. Atlanta Falcons
Record: 4-4
Last Game: L, 17-20 @ Panthers
Next Game: Week 10 vs Cowboys
Last Week: 11
B: This Falcons team is so BLAH. No creativity on offense. I don’t have any faith in this team and I think someone needs to get fired.
E: This offense isn’t anywhere near last years offense. Julio seems to be hurt.
15. Tennessee Titans
Record: 5-3
Last Game: W, 23-20 vs Ravens
Next Game: Week 10 vs Bengals
Last Week: 18
B: Mariota looked better after the bye week but a three-point win against the shitty Ravens isn’t going to impress many people.
E: Still not ready to jump back on the Titans bandwagon, beating the Ravens is something you should do.
16. Detroit Lions
Record: 4-4
Last Game: W, 30-17 @ Packers (MNF)
Next Game: Week 10 vs Browns
Last Week: 19
B: The Lions won in Green Bay, which doesn’t happen. They are back in the hunt, but they need a RB who doesn’t fumble.
E: Detroit is not dead, but the NFC North is the Vikings to lose.
17. Green Bay Packers
Record: 4-4
Last Game: L, 17-30 vs Lions (MNF)
Next Game: Week 10 @ Bears
Last Week: 17
B: This team is a shell of what they used to be with Aaron Rodgers. Pretty embarrassing.
E: No Aaron , no playoffs. It’s that simple.
18. Oakland Raiders
Record: 4-5
Last Game: W, 27-24 @ Dolphins
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 26
B: TThe Raiders saved themselves, yet again. This team is hot and cold, but I don’t trust them yet.
E: This is probably going to be Marshawn’s best game this season, but even so, the Raiders are starting to get back on track.
19. Los Angeles Chargers
Record: 3-5
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 10 @ Jaguars
Last Week: 20
B: Chargers have a shot, mainly thanks to the Broncos and Raiders ineptness. Rivers will most definitely try but that can result in multiple interceptions.
E: The fact that the Chiefs have lost 3 out of 4, keeps every team in the AFC West in it. Let’s see if the Chargers make a move, or if they fold.
20. Denver Broncos
Record: 3-5
Last Game: L, 23-51 @ Eagles
Next Game: Week 10 vs Patriots
Last Week: 15
B: The Broncos started The Heist on Sunday and promptly got the shit kicked out of them. Their defense is nowhere to be found, because they have no QB to play for.
E: This team hasn’t been able to find a viable QB , and they just got humiliated by the Eagles. I wouldn’t be surprised is they quit.
21. New York Jets
Record: 4-5
Last Game: W, 34-21 vs Bills (TNF)
Next Game: Week 10 @ Bills
Last Week: 21
B: Jets are now 4-5, which is better than we all thought. It may seem repetitive, but fuck I am shocked.
E: Good win against a tough Bills team last week. One thing is for sure, neither of those teams are the worst team in New York.
22. Chicago Bears
Record: 3-5
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 10 vs Packers
Last Week: 24
B: DA BEARS had a bye week last week so they stay put. I like the effort of this Bears team. They should be favored at home this week, which is pretty cool for a bad team.
E: Nothing changes after the bye week. They’re still not good, but let’s see if they continue to fight in the second half of the season.
23. Houston Texans
Record: 3-5
Last Game: L, 14-20 vs Colts
Next Game: Week 10 @ Rams
Last Week: 9
B: The biggest drop of the week goes to the Texans, who lose star QB DeShaun Watson for the season and are forced to start Tom (isn’t) Savage.
E: Oh……. what could of been. The Texans have moved on to next season.
Tier 4 – Welcome to Shitsville
24. Baltimore Ravens
Record: 4-5
Last Game: L, 20-23 @ Titans
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 24
B: It’s time Baltimore. It’s time for a new era. Flacco’s gotta go. It rhymes for a reason.
E: They need to have the balls to move Flacco and rebuild.
25. Miami Dolphins
Record: 4-4
Last Game: L, 24-27 vs Raiders
Next Game: Week 10 @ Panthers (MNF)
Last Week: 24
B: Miami’s once good record is now not-so-good. Gase really punished Ajayi by trading him to the #1 team in the league. Nice job sending a message.
E: Cutler was back, and had a good game. This L isn’t on him
26. Arizona Cardinals
Record: 4-4
Last Game: W, 20-10 @ 49ers
Next Game: Week 10 vs Seahawks (TNF)
Last Week: 28
B: The Cardinals do one thing well. Beat shitty teams. The fakest 4-4 record in the league. DO NOT BELIEVE. You’ve been warned. Can’t play the 49ers every week.
E: The Cardinals keep coming back to life, I thought Phoenixes were the birds that did that.
27. Indianapolis Colts
Record: 3-6
Last Game: W, 20-14 @ Texans
Next Game: Week 10 vs Steelers
Last Week: 29
B: The COLTS get a much-needed win after the depressing Andrew Luck news. Brissett is playing for his next team, and is looking ok out there.
E: I am almost as uninterested with the Colts, as Andrew Luck is.
28. Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 3-5
Last Game: L, 7-23 @ Jaguars
Next Game: Week 10 vs Titans
Last Week: 25
B: The best moment of the Bengals last game was the AJ Green fight.
E: Trade Dalton! There is always a sucka’ ass team out there.
27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 2-5
Last Game: L, 3-17 vs Panthers
Next Game: Week 9 @ Saints
Last Week: 27
B: Tampa Bay stinks and now just shut down Jameis for a few weeks. They are the definition of a shit show and multiple people will lose jobs over this.
E: It’s about time they sit out Jameis. This team is going nowhere , fast!
Tier 5 – The WORST of the Worst
30. New York Giants
Record: 1-7
Last Game: l, 17-51 vs Rams
Next Game: Week 10 @ 49ers
Last Week: 30
Brandon: Geno Smith got some run at the QB position and it’s almost guaranteed that Slick McSunGlasses Ben McAdoo is dunzo.
Erick: The Giants are terrible, but all the blame can’t be put on Eli. He has no one to throw it to, and his head coach doesn’t know what the Fuck he’s doing.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Record: 0-9
Last Game: L, 10-20 vs Cardinals
Next Game: Week 10 vs Giants
Last Week: 31
B: I really want to move the 49ers down to last but…the Browns exist. Tank job completed for the 49ers as they have lost the competitive fire. I guess losing 5 games by 3 points is heartbreaking because they are getting blown out now.
E: If I was Jimmy G, I wouldn’t be too eager to get in the game if I had to play behind the 49ers terrible O-Line.
32. Cleveland Browns
Record: 0-8
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 10 @ Lions
Last Week: 32
B: TThe Browns couldn’t possibly lose on their bye week, right? WRONG. This team couldn’t get a trade off by the deadline in time, for AJ McCarron no less. Learn a lesson from the 49ers, don’t start a man with initials as his first name.
E: The 49ers have a worse record, but they at least traded to try and find their QB. The Browns are not trying to get better this year at all.
