Tier 1 – Undefeated

1. Kansas City Chiefs ![]()
Record: 5-0
Last Game: W, 42-34 @ Texans
Next Game: Week 6 vs Steelers
Last Week: 1
Brandon: The Chiefs are the only undefeated team, and Alex Smith looks like a legit MVP.
Erick: Alex Smith for President! The Chiefs are a lot better than any of the other teams in the AFC right now.
Tier 2 – Sorry, You’re Second Best

2. Green Bay Packers ![]()
Record: 4-1
Last Game: W, 35-31 @ Cowboys
Next Game: Week 6 @ Vikings
Last Week: 2
Brandon: Aaron Rodgers continues to rip the hearts out of Cowboy fans. His perfect late-game spiral keeps the Packers at only one loss.
Erick: Aaron Rodgers owns the Cowboys, and the Packers own the top spot in the NFC.
3.
Atlanta Falcons ![]()
Record: 3-1
Last Game: L, 17-23 vs Bills
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 4
B: Atlanta is a very good team, but has some flaws. This offense looks a little different without Shanahan, but they are still the 2nd best team in the NFC, by far.
E: Maybe the Falcons don’t need to be as good as they were last year, even if the Panthers win the NFC South, the Falcons should still be able to win a wildcard spot, and get into the playoffs.
4. Carolina Panthers ![]()
Record: 4-1
Last Game: W, 27-24 @ Lions
Next Game: Week 6 vs Eagles (TNF)
Last Week: 12
B: Talk about a complete 180. The Panthers are now one of the top teams in the NFC after looking not-so-good. Cam has found his confidence, after saying something very stupid.
E: The Panthers were able to win some games even though they didn’t look too great, to start the season. Now it looks Cam and the Panthers seemed to have figured things out, and are ready to roll.

5. Philadelphia Eagles ![]()
Record: 4-1
Last Game: W, 34-7 vs Cardinals
Next Game: Week 6 @ Panthers (TNF)
Last Week: 8
B: The Eagles and Carson Wentz are here and not going anywhere. The Eagles now lead the NFC East, and Carson is even being mentioned in MVP talks.
E: The Eagles have put the league on notice, that the Eagles, and not the Cowboys are the top squad in the NFC East.

6. Denver Broncos ![]()
Record: 3-1
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 6 vs Giants
Last Week: 6
B: Denver is coming off their bye week and get the struggling NY Giants. Safe to say the Broncos will be at this spot next week too.
E: This might be the year that changes the narrative that you can’t win in this league without an elite QB, and the Broncos might be the perfect example of this.

7. New England Patriots ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: W, 19-14 @ Buccaneers (TNF)
Next Game: Week 6 @ Jets
Last Week: 10
B: The Patriots won a tough game on the road, which they needed to keep up with the Jets and Bills. Crazy, right? Gronk should be back next week.
E: If the Pats can keep winning some ugly games while they are figuring things out, they might just be ready come playoff time.

8. Seattle Seahawks ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: W, 16-10 @ Rams
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 18
B: Seattle has found their defensive groove again and are tied with the Rams for the NFC West lead. This team cannot run the ball, but the defense seems to be back.
E: Wilson is getting killed out there, but he’s finding ways to make some plays. But the defense is the reason why the Seahawks are back in the top 10.

9. Los Angeles Rams ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: L, 10-16 vs Seahawks
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 9
B: The Rams had a big shot to separate themselves from the Seahawks, but lose a tough one. Goff can only learn from this and continue to grow.
E: The Rams could have made a big statement by beating the Seahawks, but they couldn’t get it done. They’re still one of 10 best teams in the league right now though.

10. Detroit Lions ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: L, 24-27 vs Panthers
Next Game: Week 6 @ Saints
Last Week: 5
B: Matt Stafford is the toughest dude in the league. Got his ass kicked all game long, and like usual, put up a 4th quarter rally…but lost this time.
E: I wonder if Stafford would be willing to give up some of the cash he got in the offseason, for some O-line help…… cause he’s getting killed out there.
Tier 3 – Has Potential, but Needs Work

11. Pittsburgh Steelers ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: L, 9-30 vs Jaguars
Next Game: Week 6 @ Chiefs
Last Week: 3
Brandon: This Steelers team is so hot and cold. Big Ben throws five interceptions, including two for touchdowns. The locker room seems a bit messy, so Tomlin needs to clean this up.
Erick: 11 might be too high for the Steelers. They still have the weapons on offense, but Ben looks like a frustrated guy, that’s ready to throw in the towel.

12. Buffalo Bills ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: L, 16-20 @ Bengals
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 7
B: Buffalo loses to a Bengals team that probably wasn’t as bad as their start. Tyrod struggles at times, but this Bills team will be in every game.
E: The Bills looked good to start the season, let’s see if they can get back on track, after losing to a Bengals team they should have beat.

13. Jacksonville Jaguars ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: W, 30-9 @ Steelers
Next Game: Week 6 vs Rams
Last Week: 20
B: If the Jags could get anything from their QB, this team would probably be in the top 10. The Jags have scored over 30 three times, all thanks to their defense.
E: The Jags have been hit or miss all season long. One week they win and look great, but they have followed each Victory with a loss the following week. They completely dominated the Steelers last week, let’s see if they can change things up, and win 2 in a row for a change

14. Houston Texans ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: L, 34-42 vs Chiefs
Next Game: Week 6 vs Browns
Last Week: 11
B: Every week, i feel like writing the same thing. Deshaun Watson! Five more touchdowns for the kid, but losing JJ Watt for the year really hurts.
E: The Texans are a much better team with Watson, than they are without him, but the Chiefs made sure to let the Texans know what a really good team looks like.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ![]()
Record: 2-2
Last Game: L, 14-19 vs Patriots (TNF)
Next Game: Week 6 @ Cardinals
Last Week: 15
B: Tampa is flawed, by their kicker. And it seems like they have had problems since a Gramatica was kicking back there.
E: The Bucs aren’t playing like I thought they would be playing, maybe getting Martin back is just what they needed to get this Offense playing as expected.

16. Washington Football Team ![]()
Record: 2-2
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 6 vs 49ers
Last Week: 13
B: Congrats to new dad Kirk Cousins. His gift? A up close and personal view of the 49ers in week 6, his next team.
E: Washington stays around the middle of the rankings after the bye week. They’re not out of it yet, and it looks like the Cowboys are struggling, but unfortunately for Washington the Eagles are not.

17. Dallas Cowboys ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: L, 31-35 vs Packers
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 16
B: An absolute brutal loss, at home. Complete mismanaging of the clock by Jason Garrett costs them a loss, as the Cowboys head into the bye with their tail between their legs.
E: I don’t have much to say about the Cowboys, Dez, Dak, and Zeke are healthy but they’re not winning football games. The obvious solution…is to fire Jason Garrett.
Tier 4: (Could be) All Downhill From Here

18. Baltimore Ravens ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: W, 30-17 @ Raiders
Next Game: Week 6 vs Bears
Last Week: 25
Brandon: A good win on the road against a bad team. While the Ravens might not be good, they are better than a QB-less Raider team, and could be 4-2 entering Week 7. What?!
Erick: The defense is legit, but the offense is not. With that being said someone has to win the AFC North, and the Ravens might have a good enough defense to get the job done.

19. Oakland Raiders ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: L, 17-30 vs Ravens
Next Game: Week 6 vs Chargers
Last Week: 17
B: Derek Carr should be back this week, which cannot be soon enough. This team completely falls apart without him.
E: Has anyone seen Amari Cooper? Because the Raiders could use him. This exciting offense, has been everything but exciting so far.
20. Tennessee Titans ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: L, 10-16 @ Dolphins
Next Game: Week 6 vs Colts (MNF)
Last Week: 19
B: Marcus Mariota should be back this week, which saves all fans from seeing Matt Cassel again.
E: I was completely wrong about the Titans this season, they’re not as good as I thought they would be. Mariota was out, but every team that loses to the Dolphins needs to be downgraded.

21. Minnesota Vikings ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: W, 20-17 @ Bears (MNF)
Next Game: Week 6 vs Packers
Last Week: 19
B: The Vikings announced that Teddy Bridgewater should be back soon. Their season is probably over, but it will be good to see him back on the field.
E: Bradford returned, only to get hurt again. I’ve been saying it all season long, with or without Bradford, the Vikings still need a better QB.

22. Cincinnati Bengals ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: W, 20-16 vs Bills
Next Game: Bye
Last Week: 26
B: Back to back wins for the Bengals gets them closer to .500. The division is still winnable, and the emergence of Joe Mixon will help.
E: Glad to see AJ Green look like AJ Green. Maybe the Bengals aren’t completely out of it, it’s not like the Steelers or Ravens are playing good football at the moment.

23. New Orleans Saints ![]()
Record: 2-2
Last Game: Bye
Next Game: Week 6 vs Lions
Last Week: 22
B: Trading Adrian Peterson frees up the backfield for new Drew Brees favorite, Alvin Kamara. Except the Saints to have a good offensive week, and most likely lose.
E: Trading AP is not going to fix this defense, the Saints still aren’t good.

24. New York Jets ![]()
Record: 3-2
Last Game: W, 17-14 @ Browns
Next Game: Week 6 vs Patriots
Last Week: 24
B: The Jets have already surpassed their over/under win total for the year. Impressive for this team, which many people picked to go 0-16.
E: Even though they are on a 3-game winning streak, I’m not high on the Jets at all. I will admit, that it’s funny to see the Jets ahead of the Pats in the AFC East.

25. Miami Dolphins ![]()
Record: 2-2
Last Game: W, 16-10 vs Titans
Next Game: Week 6 @ Falcons
Last Week: 27
B: Miami is a disaster. Offensive line coaches doing lines in the team offices, while still starting Smoking Jay at QB, yet they rise 2 spots. Only in Florida.
E: They were able to win last week, but they still have Cutler, and they just fired their Coke Head OL coach. These aren’t good times for fins fans.

26. Arizona Cardinals ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: L, 7-34 @ Eagles
Next Game: Week 6 vs Buccaneers
Last Week: 21
B: Getting Adrian Peterson fills a void that was left vacant by David Johnson, but it doesn’t solve all the Cardinals problems. Looking forward to seeing AD get back into the endzone.
E: Like I said last week, this team can beat up on the Niners, but they will get destroyed every time they play an actual contender, which was the case against the Eagles.
Tier 5 – Welcome to Shitsville

27. Los Angeles Chargers ![]()
Record: 1-4
Last Game: W, 27-22 @ Giants
Next Game: Week 6 @ Raiders
Last Week: 30
Brandon: Long at last, the Chargers win a close game! It only took them playing another team with zero wins.
Erick: They were able to beat the Giants, but this team needs to find Phillip Rivers’ replacement soon.

28. Chicago Bears ![]()
Record: 1-4
Last Game: L, 17-20 vs Vikings (MNF)
Next Game: Week 6 @ Ravens
Last Week: 28
B: The first view of Mitchell Trubisky was a decent one. He looked comfortable-ish out there, and looked instantly better than Mike Glennon.
E: The Trubiski era has started! Unfortunately, it didn’t start off with a bang.

29. Indianapolis Colts ![]()
Record: 2-3
Last Game: W, 26-23 vs 49ers
Next Game: Week 6 @ Titans (MNF)
Last Week: 31
B: Jacoby Brissett is better than your average back up QB. While the Colts have beat up the worst teams in the NFC West, they still sit at 2-3, and Luck should be coming back soon. Right? RIGHT?!
E: Still no Luck, and still not good. It took OT, but the Colts were able to prove they’re at least better than the Niners.

30. San Francisco 49ers ![]()
Record: 0-5
Last Game: L, 23-26 @ Colts
Next Game: Week 6 @ Washington
Last Week: 30
B: The 49ers are stealing the Chargers playbook. Play close the entire game, only to lose it at the very end. 0-5 is not a great look, especially when this team could easily have two or three wins.
E: At least the Niners don’t need to tank in order to get a high draft pick. The Niners have been in most games this season, but they continue to find ways to lose.
31. New York Giants ![]()
Record: 0-5
Last Game: L, 22-27 vs Chargers
Next Game: Week 6 @ Broncos
Last Week: 29
B: Odell out for the season. 0-5. Eli looks awful. McAdoo looks creepy. Not a great 2017 for the New York Football Giants.
E: Remember when Brandon loved this team? Well he has now seen the light! The Giants are horrible.

32. Cleveland Browns ![]()
Record: 0-5
Last Game: L, 14-17 vs Jets
Next Game: Week 6 @ Texans
Last Week: 32
B: As bad as the Giants are, they still can look down at the Browns. Another horrible year for Hue Jackson as he proves he doesn’t know shit about running a franchise.
E: They benched Kizer, now the next step is fire Jackson. This team is by far the worst team in the league.
